NZ Topo - object class flare_pnt
This page describe the flare_pnt object class used to represent objects in the NZTopo topographic database.
Description
A stack used for the safe burning of combustible gases. Usually associated with petroleum and petrochemical process plants
Topo50 description
Flare stacks have become a legacy feature. This means that they will remain in the data until a sheet undergoes revision. During this process, the flare points will be examined and changed to chimney_pnts where applicable
