NZ Topo - object class tank_poly

This page describe the tank_poly object class used to represent objects in the NZTopo topographic database.

Description

A structure used for the storage of fluids.

Topo50 description

Only those significant by their size or location are held in the data and shown on the printed maps. Of these, tank _poly is used when the area is large enough to be captured at 1:50,000 as an area feature. Smaller features are captured as a point. Tanks in the CBD are not held in the data or shown on the printed maps.
